Arrange dominoes in a square frame so that the sum of the numbers along each side is the same.

Instructions

Using each domino only once in each frame, create 3 by 3 square frames with all possible sums. Here is the example of a domino frame with a sum of 12.

Some questions to think about:

  • What is the least possible sum?
  • What is the greatest possible sum?
  • How many solutions are available for each sum?

Instructions

Use all 28 dominoes in a single set to create a 15 x 15 square so that the sum of the numbers along each side is the same. Additionally, as in the traditional domino game, only the same number of points can be placed next to each other.
